Arthur Schechter, a founding partner of Schechter, Shaffer & Harris, L.L.P., Accident & Injury Lawyers was recently featured in both the Houston Chronicle and The New York Times in conjunction with fundraising efforts for Democratic presidential hopeful Hillary Clinton.
The Oct. 23 Houston Chronicle article noted that Schechter, former ambassador to the Bahamas appointed by President Bill Clinton, hosted the first “Ready for Hillary” fundraiser in the state, at his Houston home. The national grass-roots movement on behalf of the former secretary of state began in April and has attracted more than a million supporters and 20,000 donors.
Schechter was also quoted in an Oct. 21 New York Times article about fundraising efforts in New York.
“The Clintons have a way of making people feel like they’re part of something and important to what’s going on,” he said in the article.
