SMS / Text Message Terms

These terms apply to our text message (SMS) programs.

  1. Company. This text message program is offered by Schechter, Shaffer & Harris, LLP.
  2. Program description. We send two kinds of text messages to people who opt in. Marketing messages go to people who ask about our services, such as case review reminders and updates. Case update messages go to clients about their matter, such as court date reminders, document requests, and settlement updates. You choose which ones you want.
  3. Message and data rates may apply.
  4. Message frequency. Message frequency varies.
  5. Customer support. Questions? Call us at (713) 524-3500 or reach us through our contact page.
  6. How to opt out and get help. Reply STOP to cancel at any time. Reply HELP for help. After you reply STOP, we will send one message to confirm and then stop texting that number.
  7. Privacy. See our Privacy Policy to learn how we collect, use, and protect your information.
  8. Delivery. Carriers are not liable for any delayed or undelivered messages.

Your consent is your choice

Agreeing to receive text messages is not a condition of any purchase or of receiving legal services. You may use the Firm’s services without opting in to texts.
