Another winter storm watch has been issued for the Houston and Galveston areas, starting Monday night through Tuesday evening.
An arctic airmass settling over the area late tonight will drop temperatures to well below freezing, and precipitation could include snow, freezing rain and sleet. In the wintry blast experienced in the area Friday, about 200 accidents were reported around Houston. For the current storm watch, temperatures are expected to stay colder for a longer period of time.
