One crewmember was killed and another seriously injured in a cruise ship accident Oct. 24 in Colon, Panama, on the Coral Princess.
A rescue boat on the Princess Cruises vessel was being raised with the two crewmembers aboard performing maintenance work when a cable broke, dropping the rescue boat into the water.
The 2,000 passenger cruise ship Coral Princess was on a 12-night cruise out of Fort Lauderdale, Florida. The vessel, which has been in service since 2003, was sailing to the South Caribbean and Central America when the accident occurred.
