Summer Williamson

Summer Williamson is the firm’s newest attorney. She joined Schechter, Shaffer & Harris in April of 2024. Summer graduated from South Texas College of Law with honors in December 2023 and was ranked number 12 in her class. During her time at South Texas, Summer served as a Contracts II Langdell Scholar and helped tutor law students in Contracts II. In addition to her academics, Summer was the president of the Phi Delta Phi Legal Honor Society and the Christian Legal Society, on the Board of Law Review, and an oralist on South Texas’ Moot Court team. 

Prior to joining the legal field, Summer pursued a career in broadcast journalism and spent one summer working in KHOU 11 News’ sports broadcasting department. In her spare time, Summer teaches Sunday School and enjoys spending time with her family and friends.  

Summer is kind, caring, and compassionate. She has an optimistic perspective on life that she uses to encourage clients and strives to serve them in any way she can. Her organization, attention to detail, and ability to think outside the box is what makes her a great advocate.
