Fall accidents are some of the most frequent types of maritime work place accidents. These accidents very often end in serious injuries, or even death. Maritime falls can occur from elevated surfaces like platforms. Falls can also occur on a slippery deck. Workers can slip and fall on stairways or from ladders. Fall accidents can result in fractures, broken bones, concussions, spinal cord injuries, and brain injuries.
