Port of Houston Worker on Forklift Struck by 18-Wheeler

On Jan. 5, 2015, our client, a warehouse worker at the Port of Houston, was driving a heavy duty forklift when an 18-wheeler coming from the oncoming direction struck the forklift. Our client sought treatment at an emergency center. He is suffering from neck and back pain that radiates to his lower extremities. He had an MRI to his lower back that showed a disc herniation. He is currently treating with an orthopedic specialist and is receiving physical therapy.
