A 10-vehicle wreck this morning caused big problems on the South Loop in Houston, Texas.  The car wreck involved two big rigs and eight passenger vehicles and shut down 610 South for about 40 minutes.  Video is available by clicking here.

Houston police truck enforcement officers are on the scene to see if the rigs involved were in compliance, which is routine. At this point, we don’t know which vehicle was responsible for starting the accident.

Fortunately, there were no fatalities in the accidents.  The cause of the pile-up remains unknown at this time.

Accidents involving 18 wheelers often have catastrophic consequences.  When negligence plays a factor in these accidents, victims and their family members may wish to file an 18 wheeler accident lawsuit.  Our firm has worked on these cases for over 45 years, and we have seen trucking companies and their massive insurance carriers go to incredible lengths to avoid accepting any responsibility for these accident.  But the law is on the side of the injured party, and with the help of a Texas Trucking Accident Lawyer, corporate trucking defendants can be brought to justice and held responsible for their actions.
