SMSH Files Three New Jones Act Lawsuits

Three New Jones Act Lawsuits on File:

1.  Plaintiff was injured while working on workboat when he attempted to unhook a box being lowered to deck by a crane with wet and slippery equipment, causing him to slip and fall onto deck, injuring his neck and back.

2.  Plaintiff was on platform while in the process of going across to a vessel, and a cable of swing rope broke, causing his leg to go in between two tires between the boat and the platform, leading to severe injuries to his right knee and leg.

3.  Plaintiff injured his neck and shoulders in two separate instances when his hand was caught on a walking ramp and when a vent swung out of control and he was knocked down.
