A man died after being injured late Saturday night in an industrial accident in Texas City.
It appears Virgel James Stoker, 26, was injured while working on industrial equipment used to package products at the Dallas Group of America Inc.’s facility at the Port of Texas City. He died shortly after being taken to the hospital.
The Galveston County medical examiner said the cause of death had not yet been determined, and an autopsy was scheduled for today.
