Sweeney Man Seriously Injured in 18-wheeler-Pickup Truck Accident

When a loved one is involved in a tractor-trailer accident, it can be devastating for family members. The man was driving his pickup truck to work when it collided with the truck. He suffered concussions and multiple fractures in his neck, legs, and back. The 54-year-old man had to be airlifted to the University Of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston. He's expected to be in a back brace and neck brace for at least three months.

For his family, it's been a nightmarish situation. Not only are they worried about the health of their loved one, but they are also facing mounting hospital bills. Their friends and family members have arranged a benefit to help the family with their expenses. The   benefit will be held at 11 AM on Saturday at 912 Texas Avenue in Sweeney.
