SMSH Partner Matt Shaffer Files Two New Jones Act Lawsuits

Matt Shaffer has filed two new Jones Act lawsuits, one in Harris County, Texas and one in Galveston County, Texas.

In the Galveston County lawsuit, Mr. Shaffer has sued Reservoir Exploration Technology, Inc. and Gulfmark Americas, Inc. for back, right knee, and shoulder injuries sustained by a seaman on January 11, 2009.

In the Harris County lawsuit, Mr. Shaffer has sued Saipem America Inc. for back and left wrist injuries sustained by a seaman in December of 2008.
