
A former Aldine ISD bus driver accused of running over a student and killing her walked into the Harris county jail Tuesday night to turn herself in. Nellie Cormier has been charged with criminally negligent homicide. She worked for Aldine ISD for several decades before the accident.
15 year-old Alma Meza was knocked over then run over by the bus driven by Cormier and died at the scene.
Cormier was released Tuesday night on a $30,000 bond.
